About

I grew up in London surrounded by concrete and tarmac. I found myself drawn to the cities many parks and the wildlife they held. In particular I was fascinated by the birds. They have become one of my life’s focuses and a main theme for my painting.

When I couldn’t get out to the parks, I watched nature programs, often presented by David Attenborough like so many of my generation. I was entranced by the diversity and beauty depicted on the TV in front of me. This has led to my other focus for painting.

I now live in North Scotland on the Moray coast with my wife and children. I get to see some of the worlds most dramatic scenery on a daily bases along with some of the UK’s most charismatic wildlife.
